AnaNote

Zero-friction anaesthetic notes — capture, checklist, PDF.
⬇  Download AnaNote

Installing (Android, without the Play Store)

  1. Tap Download AnaNote above. Chrome may warn that the file "can harm your device" — this is standard for any app installed outside the Play Store. Tap Download anyway.
  2. When the download finishes, tap the notification (or open the file from Files → Downloads).
  3. The first time only, Android asks you to allow installs from your browser: tap Settings → Allow from this source, then go back.
  4. Tap Install. AnaNote appears with your other apps.
  5. On first launch, allow Camera access — it is needed to photograph hospital stickers. Everything runs on your phone; no connection is needed while you work.
Updating: AnaNote checks for updates automatically when opened and offers the new version — your patients, notes and template customisations are kept. You can also just revisit this page and install over the top.

Your data

  1. All patient data lives on your phone. PDFs export to Downloads/AnaNote.
  2. Cloud backups (Menu → Backup & restore) are encrypted on your phone with your passphrase before upload — the server only ever stores unreadable ciphertext. Keep your passphrase safe: without it a backup cannot be opened by anyone, including us.
