Installing (Android, without the Play Store)
- Tap Download AnaNote above. Chrome may warn that the file
"can harm your device" — this is standard for any app installed
outside the Play Store. Tap Download anyway.
- When the download finishes, tap the notification (or open the file
from Files → Downloads).
- The first time only, Android asks you to allow installs from your
browser: tap Settings → Allow from this source, then go back.
- Tap Install. AnaNote appears with your other apps.
- On first launch, allow Camera access — it is needed to
photograph hospital stickers. Everything runs on your phone;
no connection is needed while you work.
Updating: AnaNote checks for updates automatically when opened and
offers the new version — your patients, notes and template customisations
are kept. You can also just revisit this page and install over the top.
